Shreveport, Louisiana Behavioral Therapist
My Story
People often ask what inspired me to become a counselor. While I initially envisioned myself as a pediatrician, helping children in a medical setting, life had a different path in store.
In high school, I found myself drawn to a community of friends who expressed themselves through alternative subcultures. Many of them were struggling with depression, anxiety, and a general sense of unhappiness. I felt a deep desire to help but lacked the knowledge and skills to make a real difference.
That’s when I discovered the world of counseling. It was the perfect way to combine my passion for helping others with the tools to create meaningful change. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of guiding countless adolescents and young adults on their journeys to self-discovery and empowerment.
Witnessing their transformations and seeing them embrace lives filled with purpose has been incredibly rewarding.
My Background
My commitment to providing effective and compassionate care is grounded in a strong educational foundation.

To further enhance my skills, I completed a post-Master’s specialization in trauma-informed counseling from Grand Canyon University. I am also a lifetime member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology.
With over seven years of experience in the field, I am dedicated to continually refining my expertise to better serve my clients.
Fun Facts
When I’m not working with clients, you can find me indulging in my love for reading and writing (I’m even working on a fantasy novel!).
I’m also passionate about learning new things, staying active, exploring new places, and spending quality time with my family.
Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to swim with dolphins in the Bahamas – an experience I’ll cherish forever! These activities bring me joy, peace, and a sense of deep appreciation for life.
